If you are getting an error message while installing Firebind on a Mac, these steps may help:

(1) The machine may only allow apps from the Apple App Store to be installed.  This is a setting in the System Preferences->Security & Privacy. Firebind is an Apple 'identified developer' so be sure that setting will allow installations from 'identified developers'.

(2) Confirm the Mac is 64-bit.  The Firebind installer only supports 64-bit operating systems.

(3) Try rebooting the machine and retry the installation.
